Don't allow boredom and loneliness to set in after retirement. You can have a whole lot of activities that can keep you busy during your retirement. For one you could choose to go out with friends and have a great time all the time, instead of just sitting in the house and doing nothing.

Having a continue income from a post retirement job can have a very substantial positive impact on your retirement finances. But when you do get such a job, only do it for few hours each day, so that you don't get burnt out.

You can get hooked with like-minded friends, and relatives, working professionals and students in order to have regular readings, discussions, debates and reviews on books, articles, novels and any other intellectual reading materials. This will help to sharpen and widen your mind. It will also keep you very active, even in retirement.
