The industry of pharmaceuticals is very diversified and huge. The entire process of pharmaceutical manufacturing in any biopharma company has to undergo a series of multiple steps in order to produce a single type of medicine. These medicines cure and provide relief from various diseases to the mankind.

The final pharmaceutical medicines can be in any of the three forms- solid, semi-solid or liquid. Tablets, capsules, ointments, creams, etc are solid and semi-solid forms of medicines. Gels, injectables, solutions, emulsions and suspensions are liquid form of pharmaceuticals. Some pharmaceutical products are for only external use like inhalable products and aerosols. They contain chlorofluorocarbons and butane which cannot be consumed internally.

In drug industry synthetic hormones, vitamins, vaccines, antibiotics, glandular products and other types of life saving drugs are mainly manufactured drugs. Many of the biopharma companies also manufacture safety equipments, safety and dressing materials which are useful for workers working in these pharmaceutical plants.

The entire process of drugs manufacturing and synthesis along with their final usage can be divided into some main manufacturing steps like- procedure of preparing of intermediates, targeting functional groups, esterification and coupling, cleaning and purification procedures. Before the final medicine is out in the market its goes through final procedure of granulation, drying, tablet compressions, tablet coating and packaging it. Thus the entire process of pharmaceutical manufacturing is quite lengthy and stepwise so that highest quality of drugs reaches the market.
