The US Postal Service or USPS offers Operation Santa program in December each year. Beanelf Operation Santa Claus by USPS is organized from December 1 to December 23. The program is organized and offered by approximately 75 post offices through America. The program was started by USPS and has completed 99 years. This operation is intended to create awareness for US Postal Department’s Santa program. The program is not much known and public is generally unaware of the program which has been going on for 99 years. So, the motive is to popularize the Santa Claus program more and more. This program was started precisely hundred years ago and has been held each and every year without fail. The program intends to recruit volunteers for the program. This US Postal Service initiative aims at having more volunteers for Christmas every year.
