Varanasi, also known as Kashi and Banaras is the holy city of the Hindus situated on the banks of the River Ganga in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The oldest city in India, Varanasi has immense importance in the Hindu religion and is visited by a lot of tourists and pilgrims every year.
