Microsoft Has Launched Its First Surface Tablet

Microsoft, the leader in the field of software, is now trying to involve in new areas. Just a while after releasing Windows8 operating system which can support touch input, this is Microsoft’s first releasing tablet PC Surface in 37 years. It is quite obvious that this new Surface is launched to compete directly with iPad, which is aimed at redefining the whole tablet PC market. Different from the ipad which Apple defines it as an entertainment tool on the move, Microsoft does not wish Surface to be treated as another tablet PC. Instead, it hopes to produce a product which combines the functions of both PC and tablet because they think that this is the sole way to shift people’s attention to the Surface from the ipad.

Boasting of Intel chip and Windows8 operating system, it is estimated that this Surface is aimed at the businessmen. Ipad focuses on the entertainment function while the Surface is dedicated to effect mobile working.
