In modern times, office is no more a place where you are forced to slave around in order to earn your livelihood. It is actually a place where you put your talents and education to use. It is the place where you work hard to get to see your dreams and aspirations get fulfilled. Yes, along the way there are sleepless nights and tiring days; there are numerous coffee-cups and fewer lunch boxes; but eventually you get to firm handshakes, ‘well done’ emails and pats on the back. However, all those dreams may fall apart in lack of a proper office ambience. Why is the ambience so important if you have your talent and your knowledge to aid you? Well, it is because of the simple fact that even your talents seem to get rusted if you constantly find yourself struggling to adjust yourself to a really irritating environment. Repeated studies have shown that employees, who work at a disorganized or at an unorganized office, get irritable and impatient over the course of time. They have trouble in concentrating and this obviously affects their efficiency and productivity.

Recently, there have been some new trends in the market of office design which have practically revolutionized the way of working in the office. Gone are the days when offices used to be boringly rectangular or square in shape, giving out a boxy feel. Gone are the days when no colors were used in the office décor and the place looked painfully bland and cramped. Yes times have changed and so has the concept of using Office fit out. It must be mentioned here that not every design works for all offices. For example, a designing firm and a business process outsourcing firm would obviously require different kinds of layouts for their offices. The designing firm would need a Workstation design that includes a lot of desk space. On the other hand the outsourcing company would require smaller desks. The number of employees at the designing company is less and thus, it would have more office space. The BPO will have more employees and thus, there will be limited space to use.
