The Honest Truth About Muscle Building For The Busy Executive
I always assumed that muscle building for the busy executives only belonged in novels. I am sorry about that. I am totally mistaken. What changed my mind? When I met a highly successful businessman who had the body of a god at the age of 50. How on earth did he achieve that?
According to him, the secret of his success was that he never let up with his healthy lifestyle that he had been practicing since he was a college student. Apparently, he was fat and lazy and only let his brains do the walking. Then his father died at a very young age of 55 because of a heart attack. The reason: obesity. He didn’t like that; he saw the light it would seem. And that was the start of his adventure to health and exercise.
He found in college that despite the busy schedule, he still had enough time to swim 30 minutes every morning before classes began. He would eat more fruits and vegetables, although that did not stop him from eating whatever he liked like pizza and burgers. He even drank beer and soft drinks, even coffee, but he never binged he said.
The next thing that he did was to work out. He found that if he worked ...
... out after all his classes were done, just for 30 minutes, he could think better and when exercising he could actually formulate solutions on problems presented in class. He also realized that when he sweated in exercise, he slept better later that night.
All these things sort of made an impact and without even consciously making a decision, he just kept up with the same routines after college and into work. Eventually, his busy schedule in the office would take a toll on his routines but he always managed to bounce back. The latest medical examination he had cleared him of any potential for a heart attack as his cholesterol levels were just right.
Looking at this man made me think twice about those novels with busy executives looking like super fitness models. Maybe there is some truth to those stories; maybe they were based on real life executives who are into muscle building for the busy executives.
