Haj is known to be an annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is considered to be the most visited pilgrimage in the world. It is also known as the fifth pillar of Islam and a spiritual obligation that must be accomplished by every Muslim. It is known to be an act of cohesion which is done by every Muslim to pay their tribute to God.

Islamic visit starts from 8th-12th day of the Dhu aj-Hijjah the 12th and the last month of the Islamic schedule. This calendar is an astral calendar which is eleven days shorter than the Gregorian almanac that is used in the western world. This religious pilgrimage holds great significance and it deals with the life of the great Islamic Prophet Muhammad of the 7th century. Tourists from across the world gather and hold processions. They gather together at Mecca and perform the ceremonies.

This ritual involves the procedure where a Muslim has to walk seven times around the Kaaba- a dice designed building that symbolizes the Muslim way for prayer. The person then bows down in front of the black stone that is placed in the corner of the Kaaba. Then the person has ...
... to run back and forth between the hills of Al-Safa and Al- Marwah and then drink water from the Zamzam well. Then the person needs to visit the plains of Mount Arafat to stand in guard and then throw stones for a ritual named Stoning of the Devil.

After this procedure the pilgrims shave their head and then perform the ritual of animal sacrifice and celebrate with a lot of enthusiasm for four days the festival of Eid-al-Adha. Pilgrims can visit Mecca and perform the rituals throughout the year. This process is known as Umrah. If the pilgrims perform the Umrah, still they have to perform the Hajj.

If you have planned to go for Hajj an Islamic pilgrimage then there are a lot of things that you need to consider like the cost of the travel and the Hajj and Umrah packages. There are a lot of Hajj and Umrah packages like the VIP Hajj Package, Deluxe Hajj Package, Standard Hajj Package and Economy Hajj Package. They are quiet proactive and engage the groups in various activities like lectures and building close relationships with the tour guides. You can simply choose the package according to your requirements and that too at affordable rates. So waste no time hurry and up and get yourself booked for the pilgrimage.
