Logos - The Integral Part Of Brand Identity
Logos is the most important part of a company's image, it creates a brand image in the minds of the existing as well as the potential customers. It should be such that it defines and symbolize the company and its products/services in a positive manner. For an organization's corporate identity existence of a well designed logo is essential. In other words it can be termed that logos are trademark for a company. In order to crave a place in customers' mind a corporate and brand identity is needed. Although it is just a small symbol, hundreds to millions of dollars alone are being spent for getting the correct company logo.
So what does really matter in case of logo designing? Any successful logo is usually successful in catching the attention of the onlooker in the first time itself. It should generate interest and curiosity in the minds of the customers and be able to set into their frame of mind.
There are several companies and their logos that a person comes across daily, therefore to grab the required attention a logo has to be highly creative and appealing enough. A well designed and catchy logo design stays ...
... for longer time in the memory of people in comparison to advertising elements. A simple looking logo when designed requires the logo designer to keep many factors in mind like the goals, target audience, nature of the target market, etc of the company. The trick is to keep it simple and to the point.
A business logo that is designed is used on many mediums to promote the business like websites, billboards, business cards, letterheads, promotional things like pen, mugs, etc. If the logo design is complex with lots of minute details and color combination it becomes difficult to embed them on smaller surfaces and on promotional items.
It does not imply that the logo design in order to keep it simple should be boring and monotonous but elegant and have proper functionality. Highly complex logo designing costs more due to high costs of printing.
A logo need not be done at the end of planning process of a company's infrastructure. The graphic designers should be clearly given the information regarding the company goals and its products. This would help in getting exact logo designs matching your requirements. Selecting the correct logo designing company needs thorough market research and study. Decisions made in haste may not yield desired results in timely manner.
