Situated in Basque Country region of Spain, the impressive Butron castle is close to the Gorliz and Plencia beaches thus making it an attraction to many holidaymakers coming here for some sun and sand holidays. The style of construction is gothic having being inspired by the medieval French. The castle was erected back in 13th century and it has a huge park circling it. It is indeed a site to behold and it cannot be missed for anything by those coming into the region for a stay.

This Vizcaya castle has a rich history to it and it was the cause of many struggles the noblest families of the municipality had. It is simply a beautiful and attractive medieval building. Even though it was abandoned for many years, it was later to be revived and restored to the now 19th century beautiful building that it is. The work and design of the castle is quite admirable today.
