Types are denoted according to the place of incision. Incision can be done in the areola, umbilical region, armpit, or the region where breast meet chest.

When opting for these augmentation incision options, then scars are very unnoticeable. In addition, there is less swelling due to smaller cuts. As a result, recovery period is faster. However, umbilical incision option can be conducted if there happens to be saline implants for breasts. When incision is made on the areola or under bust line, then scars are highly noticeable. ... scars is not a problem at all.

The patients do not decide the type of incision. Only after proper diagnosis, the surgeon can find out about the best options available. Pectoral muscle can be put on top of pectoral muscle or just under it. Only after proper diagnosis can the surgeon is sure about the best available option for the patient.
Implants are available in two major types: Silicone and Saline.

Silicone implants are again of two types: Cohesive and Gel. Both cohesive and gel options from Silicone implants are less weighty and natural in looks. However, leakage of Silicone implants can lead to severe complications like swelling, breast pain, fever, and connective tissue disorders. Saline implants do not possess any natural looks.
