Recruitment For Infosys - An Overview

Infosys Technologies was a very small company when it was founded by Mr. Nagavara Ramarao Narayana Murthy and his colleagues and has now become a dream destination of every IT professional or aspirant. Being the second largest Indian software exporter, it has been offering a number of employment opportunities to IT professionals, especially to the fresher candidates who have just passed out from their degree courses by conducting campus selections.

The recruitment panel of the company has recruited a number of fresher candidates from various colleges, particularly engineering colleges. The campus selection committee gives the details of the available positions within the company to the placement cells of the colleges so that they can start the process of recruiting the candidates for Infosys Jobs

A person has to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria to be eligible to sit for the selection process, which includes minimum percentage of marks. The candidates are shortlisted by the placement cell of the college, based on their performance ...
... and the past records and then the students are required to attend the Infosys recruitment process, the first step of which is clearing objective test and then the subjective ones. The questions asked during the exam should follow a similar pattern of the numerical puzzles and reasoning questions. Another section is the verbal reasoning, which can be prepared by using the reasoning questions that are asked during the competitive exams such as GRE, MBA, Banking, IELTS, etc.

After clearing the written test, the candidate is shortlisted for the interview rounds. For the interview rounds, the person should follow the basic interview etiquettes that are generally followed during the interview processes. The person should dress neatly. The boys can wear a crisp formal shirt, paired with formal dark pant, tie and sparkling shoes. The girls can wear anything that look professional, and this can include shirt pant, suits, skirt, etc. the candidates are suggested to remain confident while speaking with the HR or the interviewer. The interviewer analyzes the general reasoning capability of the candidates and his promptness to solve the problems.

Generally, the interviewers ask the questions which are already mentioned on your resume, so the candidate must always include the facts in the resume and should not lie anywhere as this is considered as fraud and it will be very humiliating for the candidate if the fraud is identified. Most of the CVs which include the misleading information are discarded. The candidates are advised to include the correct information in the CV and should speak the facts during the interview.

For Infosys jobs, the candidates are judged on their competency, subject knowledge and communication skills. The company aims to select the cream de la cream of the batches, and this is the reason why Infosys conduct such stringent tests and interviews in the leasing institutions and colleges.

Also other skills which the interviewers look for are: excellent analytical skills, leadership ability, strong academic background and interaction with others. The company aims to seek candidates who can use their skills to provide innovative ways in the actual situations while working.
