Prison Break is an American show based on the genre of action, crime and thriller. It’s a serial drama. It was created by Paul Scheuring. The executive producers are Marty Adelstein, Neal H. Moritz, Dawn Parouse, Brett Ratner, Paul Scheuring, Matt Olmstead, Kevin Hooks and Michael Pavone. The editors are Etienne Des Lauriers, Scott Eilers, Eric Seaburn, Warren Bowman, Kaja Fehr and James Coblentz.

Most of the shooting of prison break are shot in Chicago, Joliet, Toronto, Dallas, Panama City, Pensacola and Los Angeles. Cinematography is done by Fernando Arguelles, Jeffrey C. Mygatt, Robert LaBonge, Chris Manley and Robbie Greenberg. Prison break was produced under Original Television and 20th Century Fox Television. The series premiered for the first time on Fox channel on August 29, 2005. Its four seasons has been released with a total of 81 episodes. The fourth season ended on May 15, 2009.

Main characters in show are Dominic Purcell as Lincoln Burrows, Wentworth Miller as Michael Scofield, Amaury Nolasco as Fernando Sucre, Robert Knepper as Theodore T-Bag Bagwell and William Fichtner as Alex Mahone.

... Burrows has been sentenced to death because of vice president’s brother’s murder. Lincoln tries to tell everyone that he is not the real culprit but no one believes him except his brother Michael Scofield. It is a co incidence that the prison where Lincoln has been kept, he was one of the engineers who were assigned the job of constructing that prison. Thus Michael knows every way out of the prison.

He is ready to take any risk to save his brother from the death penalty. Michael plans his own arrest and has been sent to the same jail where Lincoln was present. They get together there and Michael plans to get out of the jail. The problems arise in the mean time and they both find out that escaping from there is not easy as it seemed to be.

The first season got positive and good reviews from audience as well as critics. Previously, it was decided that first season will consist of 13 episodes, and seeing the popularity of the show, nine more episodes were added. Prison Break has been nominated many times and has won a lot of awards too. It includes People’s Choice Award, Golden Globe Award for Best Television Drama Series, Television Critics Association Awards, Saturn award, Satellite award, Emmy and many more.
