Sydney Is The Place To Be For Winter Festivals
Travelling to Sydney this winter could mean that there is a lot installed for you when you get there. Sydney is located around the famous Sydney harbour, where you can get to see the harbour bridge and the famous opera house that looks like a bunch of seashells. The average temperature during winter usually hovers around 15 degrees or so, and you should remember to pack enough warm clothes to make sure that you stay warm even when it gets really cold. Between July and the end of the year, Sydney experiences the least amount of rainfall, so even though it is cold, at least you won’t be cold and wet as well. As usual, Sydney plays host to a variety of festivals that happen every year. In order to help people through the cold weather, a number of fun and invigorating things for you to do have been planned.
Before you rush over to Sydney for the winter festival of a lifetime, you need to make sure that you have a place to stay. hotelurban.com.au is an ideal example of a place to check in because you can book for a room that is located close to the city centre where you have ...
... easy access to public transport and you can get to see the whole of the city in the short time that you are there. They have already built an open air ice-skating rink where you can hire skates or bring your own and spend a few hours skating over the ice with your family or friends. You can experience alpine inspired cuisine where you can sit back and enjoy a hot chocolate or eat something Swiss. In 2012 the festival will be held in Brisbane, Bondi, Melbourne and Freemantle so you don’t have to worry about missing out if you are not in the areas at the right time. You can travel from the one destination to the other, and still get a taste for what it is all about without missing a single thing. If you really need to move on then you may want to consider booking the same hotel with a branch in the next city.
If the winter festivals don’t do it for you, then there is still the actual city to explore and you can go on a ferry tour around the entire harbour. You may want to visit the famous opera house and see what it is all about, or perhaps you prefer to watch the whales begin the northward migration.
