Travel Deals For Those In Uniform And Teachers

Members of the armed forces, police, firefighters, and teachers are currently being offered travel discounts in addition to cheap travel deals, including cheap airplane tickets and cheap vacation packages, available to everyone.

Select hotels and theme parks across the country are offering exclusive discounts on rooms, spa services and sometimes even free park passes.

Active military members, including active duty, activated or drilling reservists, and National Guardsman are being offered free one day passes to any Anheuser-Busch theme park through the “Here’s To The Heroes” program. Participating parks include Bush Gardens (Tampa Bay and Williamsburg), Seaworld (Orlando, San Antonio, and San Diego), Sesame Place, Water Country USA, and Adventure Island.

Military members wishing to take advantage of this offer need to register at Anheuser-Bush’s “Here’s To The Heroes” website and show a valid Department of Defense ID at the park in order to be given free admission and free passes for up to three additional guests so long as they are direct dependents and can show their valid dependent Department ...
... of Defense IDs. Only one free admission day can be redeemed per year, per person.

A special discounted rate on rooms and spa treatments is being offered by The Sanderling Resort & Spa in North Carolina’s Outer Banks for anyone in uniform. Any current or former members of the military, fire and rescue, police or medical personnel qualify.

South Florida’s Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort, Golf Club and Spa is offering teachers 20 percent off the cheapest rate through September 21st, 2012, on a Tropical Resort Guest Room for any hotel stay between Sunday and Thursday.

Florida’s Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa in North Palm Beach is also offering teachers a 20 percent discount off the cheapest available room rate in addition to breakfast for two adults, 20 percent off spa treatments, and 50 percent off valet parking at the resort.

Puerto Rico’s San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino is offering teachers a 25 percent discount off all reservations.
