Does your pet like to “mark its territory”? Does it often do it on your rug or your carpet? Well, the first thing you need to do is to teach it not to do it. As well as that, you should know that there is a way to easily remove such stains, using only natural products from your home. Here is how to remove pet stains from carpets, using natural products:

You should know that there also are a lot of commercial products which will probably be able to remove the stains. The thing about them is that all commercial cleaners contain harsh chemicals which are not very healthy for you, your family or your pet. Another thing about them is that they also cost quite more, because of those chemicals. A much better idea, according to Toorak cleaners is to use some natural products, because they are absolutely safe and the products which you need are really cheap.

Here is what you need to do:

With vinegar – dab a cloth with some vinegar and clean the stain with it. It will help you both with the stain and with the odour. Do not worry, when the ...
... vinegar dries, there will be no vinegar smell.

With toothpaste - use some ordinary every day toothpaste on the stain. Just put it on the stain and brush with an old toothbrush. Scrub all the toothpaste away and rinse.

Raw potato – take a potato and cut it in half. After that just rub it on the stain and it will disappear together with the odour. It works better then expensive, chemical cleaners.

Spray window cleaner – just spray some on the stain and blot with a paper towel. You might have to do it two or three times.

With peroxide – on a sponge drop some peroxide and water, then rub the stain. This will help you with the stain and odour.

Dish washing liquid – take a small cup of water and squirt a drop of dish washing detergent and two spoons of white vinegar.

If the urine is fresh, blot the stain and put over some absorber like baking soda or salt. Then apply a mixture of equal parts of water and vinegar. Then blot and you are ready.

If non of the solutions above work, you can consider hiring professional carpet cleaners like cleaning Hawthorn. They will clean your carpet and give you advice how to do it next time.

Remember to always try every solution on a small and inconspicuous part of the carpet before you use it on the stain. This way you will be sure that you won't harm the fabric.
