4. Kushinagar: It is the death place of Lord Buddha. Kushinagar is a small town located in Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh. Since Lord Buddha died here, it has become one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage site. It is also known as the place of Mahaparinirvana.
