You begin by forming two teams, each with a die and a glass for each player, filled with a drink of your choice. The players then position themselves on chairs at the corners of the table with their cups placed on it and filled to the brim. The teams then take turns at throwing a die across the table towards their opponent's glasses, in an attempt to hit it. The defenders are allowed to use one hand to catch the die, but only after it has hit the table or deflected from the glass. Every time a dice hits a glass, the owner of same has to drink all of it, and the offensive team gets a point. It is played until some pre-arranged score has been reached or people start passing out.Another entertaining and intoxicating game is known as Irish Quarters and it is played with plastic cups and a quarter. It starts off by filling your cup with beer and then spinning the quarter. You have to try and gulp the entire content of the cup before the coin hits the table, or else you will have to refill your cup and try again. If you do manage to drink all the beer before the quarter stops spinning, it is the next person's turn.
