Over the years, flowers have been used to express different emotion and each flower symbolizes unique qualities that a person has. They have a language of their own and are ideal ways for conveying your feeling when words aren’t enough. Scientists suggests: “Flowers are a perfect replicas of human life”. Flowers are ideal choices for any special events or just to acknowledge how much you appreciate their efforts. Any emotions can be well represented by flowers.

There are so many flower meanings and you can always give a special meaning of your own. What really matters is the thought and compassion that is enveloped in each flower that you give. It might interest you to know that each month has been assigned a unique flower just like the birthstones!

Each month has been given a flower that represents a particular. Most people are completely unaware about the meaning of birth month flowers and what they denote. Usually birth month flowers are the one that grows around the same time of the year. However it may ...
... not be true in all the cases as it represents what that month symbolizes.

Knowledge of birth month flowers can come in handy in many ways. You can assemble a beautiful bouquet for your loved ones for their birthday or anniversary. There are many people who like to create a memorial garden of each of their children’s birth flower. They surely make a fun place (and a nostalgic one too!) for you as well as your children. Here is small guide about the different meaning of flowers:

The violet denotes knowledge and wisdom and it blooms in the beginning spring season. Just like the violets, daffodils also bloom in the beginning of spring. They symbolize rebirth and hope. Daisies are bright yellow flower with the ability to bring happiness to people. They also come in various other shades like pink, orange, white and red but they denote the same meaning.

Lilies symbolize love, sweetness and purity of heart. They are often sent to lovers on Valentine’s Day! Roses are ideal for almost all the occasion. Different shades of color denote a different meaning. A red rose is for love and passion, a yellow rose is for friendship while a white rose denotes peace and prosperity. Tulips come initially from Persia and now they are the flower symbol of Holland. A red tulip means “affirmation of love” while a yellow tulip symbolizes “hopeless love”.

The chrysanthemums have been cultivated in China for over 2000 years! The name ‘chrysanthemum’ has originated from the Greek word chrysos (which means gold) and anthos (flower). This flower is associated with innocence, loyalty, hope and happiness.

These are just some of flowers that are given in the form of bouquets. However, it is the feeling of the giver and the receiver that matters more than any meaning formally given to it. Therefore, put careful thoughts in arranging the bouquet as it says a lot about your feelings and emotions.
