Also, the current status of Delhi property states that the citizens who are below poverty line and surviving in Delhi somehow are consistently and deliberately giving birth to illegal colonies, which are not approved by the government and has been constructed on the land which is not even allotted for the establishment of any residential or commercial properties. And as per the statistics, such illegal colonies are 1000+ in Delhi that are seeking the approval from the concerned authority to be known as a government approved residential area. And you may believe or not, people are buying properties and land in these illegal colonies simply on the basis of power of attorneys.

Now, the concerned departments has taken the plea of such colonies to be counted as an approved residential colonies of Delhi because such colonies has give home and shelter to millions of those people who were residing in slums and had no wealth to purchase a property in Delhi in any form. Thus, they ended up forming such colonies where families belonging to below poverty line are living.

So, all in all, the status of Delhi property is crucial and of course is out of the reach of most of the Delhiites today.
