Introduction to practice factor tree:
Any number except 1 and 0 can be split up into other numbers.. These other numbers are called the factors. As for an example:  6 can be broken up as following:
6 = 3x2 or 6x1
Factors of 6
Again 15 can be broken up as followed
15 = 3x5 or 15x 1

Factors of 15
So you can see that two or more numbers can be multiplied to form one number and such numbers formed by multiplication are called MULTIPLE. In the above two examples 6 and 15 are called the multiples.

Now let me introduce Factor Trees. Factor trees show the different factors of a number or a Multiple. It shows the disintegration of number or multiple as long as the Prime factors of that number or Multiple do not show up.
Lets practice factor tree here.
Lets Practice How to Make a Factor Tree?
Practice how to make a factor tree:-

EXAMPLE: 45
See first the 3 could not be broken down so this is one of the factor. The 15 could be broken down to 3 and 5 which further could not be broken. So again 3 and 5 are the factors. So if we ...
... combine the numbers, which could not be broken further, we would get the complete factors of  the number.

Having problem with awesome implicit differentiation keep reading my articles, i will try to help you.Click here to see.

Here , in the above example the factors are 3 x 3 x 5.Now take a pencil and draw an outline along the spread of the work. You would get the shape of a tree. This is the reason it is called Factor tree
For a much better understanding I shall show another example.
Practice factor tree with one more example

EXAMPLE: 150
Practice breaking up any number as I have shown in the above example we get the factors. Then take a pencil and draw an outline along the work done . You would get a Factor tree. Enjoy doing Factor trees.
Ponts to Remember - Practice Factor Tree

All the factors of a number, that we ultimately reaching to , are PRIME NUMBERS.  do you remember Prime Numbers? These are the numbers which have only itself and 1 as factors. As factors of 5 are 5 x 1. Again factors of 3 are 3 x 1. So a little refreshment of memory done? Enjoy doing factor trees
