1. Ink-Jet Printer: If you have limited want to get bulks of prints per day and that too for home usage then Ink-Jet printers are best options. ... the market. Go for fixed-head Ink-Jet printers rather than disposable printers as they last long. Ink-jet printers have some noticeable advantages, like easy to use, low cost, and capable of printing smooth details and require no warm up time. HP Printers are the best examples of ink-jet printers which are available in less than Rs. 2000.

2. Laser Printer: Laser printers are generally seen with professionals at offices and are found at places where printing is an ongoing process. These printers use colored powder instead of liquid ink. Laser printer’s prices are higher when compared to ink-jet printers, but the cartridges requirement would be less ie, if you pay a little more, you get more prints per cartridge too. Its basic components include – rotating mirror, toner cartridge, roller and drum cartridge. Its major benefit is that its printout is not sensitive to water.

3. Monochrome Printers: As the name suggest, Mono: One and Chrome: Color, the printouts that you will get from these printers would be in one color, either in black, white or grey shades. While choosing a printer, make sure you have all your requirements from the printers in your mind. Monochrome printers have been consistent and honest devices used in offices since last 2 decades. You can opt for the monochrome printers and save some amount if you just need to print black & white reports or bills.

4. Color Printers: while buying a color printer two important aspects that should be kept in mind are: budget and printing requirements. The difference in working of ink-jet and laser printers affects the price and quality. So the color laser printers are better than ink-jet ones as they have powder filled toner cartridges. You are sure to find these printers at offices where time is given a major priority.
