When it comes to antibodies proteins that produced by B white blood cells and used by the immune system to struggle against disease then it is a unique process of antibody production. B cells contain the antibodies that cover invading microbes and allow killer cells (macrophages), to overwhelm and devastate the foreign cells. Because invading cells have some isotopic antigens, one line of monoclonal antibodies is not as proficient. The body builds polyclonal antibodies that classify unusual variations of the same antigen on an invading microbe and it is very important in immunity.

Polyclonal antibody is a form of commonly used antibody that gains from B cells. B cells are lymphocyte that plays a critical role in the body's immune system. The universal use of polyclonal antibodies is as an antitoxin to take care of poisonous bites and tingles. They can also provide passive immunity to a range of disorders in human body, such as Ebola infection. The researchers usually craft polyclonal antibodies by immunizing a mammal and storing the resulting serum. This route must be performed in a well developed biomedical research ...
... laboratory.

The most amounts of polyclonal antibodies are developed from a variety of clonal populations with specificity to various epitopes on one antibody particle. These types of antibodies are helpful against a open range of pathogens. However, they are not trouble-free to generate. The amount and capacity of polyclonal antiserum attained differs with each animal and even in the alike animal over a period of time. Hence, the more availability of polyclonal antibodies is not enough and its nature is subject to change even during the way of production. In the other hand Monoclonal antibodies are formed from only one clone and have one definite epitope. To make monoclonal antibodies, you need to immunize an animal, such as, rabbit and then assemble the immune cells from the spleen of that animal. They can also be produced by using in-vitro cell culture devices. Under constructive conditions, unlimited formation of monoclonal antibodies is possible.

Apart from these, rabbits are the most normally used laboratory animal species for antibody production due to optimum size, simplicity of handling, the availability of precise pathogen free rabbits and capacity of producing moderate quantities of high-quality and empathy antibody from a range of antigenic materials. Some other species are also used for polyclonal antibody production such as mouse, chicken, goat and sheep.

In the same way, the humeral response or antibody secretion that is caused by B lymphocytes have specific immunoglobulin receptors on their surface. But an immunogenic promotes the immune system of the body; plasma cells that have divided from B lymphocytes make antibodies in the blood stream.

Almost all the antibody particle have the competence to identify a specific site, called epitope, (monosaccharide units or chain of 5-6 amino acids) on the antigen and connect to it. Antibodies have been also used by medical researchers in diagnosis for the treatment and prevention of different kinds of physical disorders.
