Bintulu is a coastal town in the state of Sarawak. Located half way between the capital city of Kuching and Kota Kinabalu, Bintulu hosts the Petronas Liquefied Natural Gas complex. Although Bintulu is a rapidly developing industrial town, there is significant site seeing in and around the city that attracts a number of tourists from around the world. It is difficult to imagine that it is possible to get a central location in Bintulu sarawak for a low cost budget hotel as people feel it a less known town! This is really not true because Bintulu is a great location even to check out other tourist spots of Sarawak. For example, about 20km from Bintulu town is the Similajau National Park. The interior part of the park is made of thick tropical rain forests while the shoreline has clear fresh water streams. This is a delight both for the common man and a biologist.

The Chinese temple of Kuan Yin Tong is famous not only for religious reasons but also for its craftsmanship and detail. A rock garden ...
... landscape greets visitors as they enter the temple. To get an authentic feel of the sounds and smells of the place a visit to the local night market or pasar malam is a must! Local produce, food, toys are available for a bargain. Just walk around taking pictures and the joyful sights can definitely be captured forever on your camera. So, a central location in Bintulu sarawak is important not just for sight seeing within the town but also for being able to get good transport facilities to travel in and around the town. Even in lesser know towns of Malaysia, good budget hotels not only occupy good locations, they also offer extra facilities such as Wi-Fi, TV for extra charge. This ensures that you are in touch with your extended family even when you are away on a holiday!

Malaysia is truly an unavoidable destination not just for its beaches, tropical rain forests and culture but also for the fact that it makes an affordable holiday. The mushrooming budget hotels along with low cost airlines make this a great value proposition. Budget hotels have taken care of a big chunk of expenditure by way of offering good basic facilities along with the room rent but charging extra for other facilities. Due to the fact that tourism is a very competitive industry, budget hotels not only vie with one another but in terms of some comforts such as bed and bath, they can be compared to any five star hotel! Also, it is not at all difficult to find these hotels in a central location in Malaysia. From Kedah in north to Johor in the south and the Borneo states of Sabah and Sarawak, they are scattered all across the country, each located centrally in the town close to local shopping and eating areas and local transport.

Kuching, the capital city of Sarawak is the reason people flock to the state. The land of lush green paddy fields, mystical rain forests and pristine beaches, Kuching is a much visited tourist centre. The Bako National Park is probably how a bit of the Garden of Eden looked! Wild Boars, long tailed macaque monkeys, proboscis monkeys, monitor lizards are but a few of the exotic animals that can be spotted in this region. Kuching Esplanade is the result of the development of the riverside area in the city. A pedestrian walk way along with a number of restaurants and souvenir vendors, this is a beautiful place to take a stroll at night or day. The Sarawak Cultural Village is world famous for its architecture, customs and lifestyle of the local tribes of Ibans, Bidayuhs and Melanaus. Rare local fun such as blowing of the blow pipe and going to the kitchen in the longhouses to buy food from the ladies are some of the thrills of the cultural village. The great thing is despite retaining its traditions it is still possible to find a modern budget hotel in central location in Kuching sarawak. It is unimaginable that low cost hotels can be located in the heart of Kuching City Centre giving the average tourist a sense of security. Push your luck and browse the net or talk to friends to see what more these hotels can offer you in places like Kuching. Are there wheel chair friendly rooms available or any transport to take round the city etc. Do plan and probe well with friends and or the internet and buy a good deal on room rents! This way you can be high on enjoyment index and low on expenditure!
