Another popular Wayanad Hotels are the tree houses, eco lodges and tented accommodation. One has to reach the tree house using an ingenious self-propelling elevator made out of cane and counter balanced by the weight of water.
A lot of camps and home stays are also available in Wayanad. Green Gales Hotel has set up a camp near the Kabini River near Kuruva islands and organises all sorts of adventurous activities like rafting, trekking and fishing.

The nearest airport is Karipur international airport in Kozhikode and the nearest railway station is the Kozhikode railway station.
