The United States of America (USA) is among the most advanced and modern countries in the world but there in the middle of all this modernism the average American has forgotten tradition and has no time for old family values. Regular church going is slowing down especially in the urban areas where the weekend is sacrosanct now for leisure. There was a time when Sunday meant a visit to a church but no one seems to have the time for God anymore. America has an area that stretches to a large part from its mid west region to the southern states that is known as the Bible belt. This region still holds on to old traditions and has an immense faith in god.

El Paso, Texas has a large Hispanic community and along with these the church is proud to have as part of its congregation, Christ’s followers from Asia, Anglos and Afro-Americans as well. The church does not just look after the spiritual well being of its members but also focuses on spiritual growth and community welfare. Since 1978, the church has been running a school that is fully accredited and has classes from the preschool stage to the twelfth grade. There are approximately 300 students in the school and the classes have been running successfully.

This church takes its responsibilities seriously and aims to lead the community to lead more meaningful lives. There is a very able team that aims to help people in the community to improve their lives and to experience God. Only when one experiences the goodness and the love of God, can one spread it to others. If everyone felt this, the world would be a much better place. Bethel Family ministries is one of the El Paso churches that has youth pastors and the youth of the community is helped to walk on the right path and to make the correct choices.
