Lose Your Holiday Weight Gain Before You Even Gain It

The time between Labor Day (in America) and New Years Day could add about 9 pounds of fat to your stomach. On average most people gain about 15-20 pounds of fat during this time of the year. There are a few things that you could do to prevent this... and actually you may even be able to get the wheel to spin in the opposite direction and lose some body fat during this time.
First I want to unravel my theory of why you along with everyone else packs on the pounds every single post-summer season. I believe it is due to the fact that you work so hard from January till May with all the radical diets or workout programs. As summer begins and you have gotten your body beach-ready you feel as though you have reached your goals and in your mind you become comfortable of where you are at physically. This is a big problem.
Though I am one of the biggest proponents of feeling confident of your body no matter what your shape or size I do wanna make a comment about becoming comfortable of your body during the summer. Let's rewind to last January when you first set your goals, was it to lose 15, 20, 25 or even 35 pounds? It ...
... could have even been much more. So let�s say by the time summer came around you lost 3/4 of the weight you originally set out to lose. Sure you look really good and probably feel a thousand times better; the reality is you never reached your goal.
Now that your mind is at ease of where you are at you begin to incorporate more cheat meals and eventually you completely tarnish your regime with fatty fried foods or calorie packed drinks. Most likely you won't notice any changes in your body for about 2 months. Coincidently this is when all of the holiday parties begin. You and I both know that the cookies, cakes and cocktails at these parties are nearly irresistible. So what happens next?
You guessed it. You start to regain the weight you spent all year losing. However for every year that passes you probably gain an extra 1-3 pounds. This is horrible. Really... please take a second and think about what is going to happen if you continue in this pattern of stomach fat mayhem. In 10 years you are going to have an extra 18 pounds of ugly fat on your stomach and your waistline is going to increase about 8-10 inches. Now do you see why I said this is so horrible?
Well there is light at the end of the tunnel. Here is what you can do, starting right now! I want you to take a second and think about what your goal was back in January. Now compare that with your results so far. If you still have more stomach fat to lose then I want you to revamp your entire approach. I want you to speed up your workouts and I want you to compact your meals so they are more realistic and easier to chow down on.
Rather than doing the typical 45 minute gym workouts I want to introduce something that I have been analyzing carefully over the last several weeks to see if it would work for someone just like you or me.
