When you're looking at wedding halls in Ontario, it's easy to get lost in the many options. After all, this is a day that you want to be perfect, and sometimes it can seem like every hall you visit is the perfect setting for this special occasion. However, there are several things couples often do (and should) ask when booking a hall. Here are just five of the most commonly asked questions:

1. How large is your hall?

This question is an important one because you probably already have an idea of how many guests you can expect at your wedding. While sometimes it might be obvious that a hall is too large or too small for your event, it is essential that you ask them what their maximum occupancy rate is. Many wedding halls will have several rooms of different sizes available. And while you're asking about the size of the hall itself, be sure to ask about parking. Find out how many cars they can accommodate and whether parking is free.

Different halls require different information from couples who are considering booking with them. For example, they may need to know which wedding package you are interested in, the number of people you are expecting, and the precise date and year of your event. A private consultation is the best way to find out everything you need to know and view the facilities you are interested in. By asking the first four questions over the phone, you should get an idea of how to narrow down your list of halls to just a handful of finalists. Then you can book consultations with them and make a final selection.

Don't forget that the most popular and desirable halls book up quite far in advance, so you might need to schedule your event a year or more ahead. Be sure to leave plenty of time in case you want to have your event at one of these exclusive halls.
