The health care industry is very vast and has several sections in it. In this write up, we are discussing the realistic information regarding certified nursing assistant (CNA) and medical assistant. Both perform intense working in a hospital or clinic to offer perfect collaboration between the patient and the doctors in specified medical settings. Certification for CNAs and Medical Assistants: Medical assistant require the certification renewal after few years to keep it update with change in science and technology, whereas CNAs are required to pass the competency test along with state approved training of approximate 75 hours. The health assistants are offered certifications from the Association of Medical Technologists and The American Association of Medical Assistants, so they get into well paid positions.

Places where MA and CNA work: Hospital: CNA works in various departments of hospitals with their respective specialization in their field of interest. CNA is the stepping stone to pursue nursing.

Family Practice: MA and CNA form the integral part of the family practices, where doctors have to see large number of patient and require aid for the same.

Outpatient Clinics: There are several specialized clinics operating in the health care industry to meet the immediate demands of the patient, requires skilled CNA and MA for their clinics with specified knowledge to deal the patient problems with intense care and sympathetically.

Thus, CNAs and medical assistants have several duties to perform in their specified section and work diligently to serve the health care industry with best of their experience and knowledge.
