It can do this because it saves the cost that you might incur otherwise, if you would have chosen to establish a physical business. Plus, you business would also have been limited, but on internet, it is unlimited to boundaries, and takes an almost non-existent cost to circulate round the whole world.
No initial procedures or transactions will have to be made before establishing the business formally. Everything is done online. In short, ecommerce makes the people unlimited to time and space. But there are disadvantages in practicing ecommerce. Ecommerce needs no investment, and is not limited to a certain number or type of people. Any person with minimal investment can start off with a business. You cannot trust all the businesses that run on the internet. Some sites can simply eat up the money of the customers. When there is an online business, nobody can guarantee the quality of the product. All the customers know of the product is how it looks like. After buying if the customer feels that the product was not of a good quality, the business PR may go down, while the customer investment would be wasted. Ecommerce can also become the prey of hackers, while the prey of technical failures too, which can stop the entire process. Such problems can seriously affect the sales and reputation of the ecommerce business.
