Asian Cuisines And Indian Restaurants

When we think of Asian cuisines, the first image that jumps out is that of the Chinese restaurants. However, one has to understand that the Asian cuisine is much more than Chinese food. It comprises of East Asian, Southeast Asian, Central Asian, and Middle Eastern food. The cuisine differs from region to region, with each state having its own distinct dishes. The food is a direct representation of the culture and the beliefs of the people. Some regions present a perfect blend of food and reflect the multi-cultural composition of its community. People take their food and their cuisines along with them as they migrate from one place to the other.
Indian food is a popular genre of Southeast Asian cuisine. One will surely find at least a handful of excellent Indian restaurants in any country that he or she visits. Indians are known to migrate to foreign lands and every place they go, to make it their own. They set up their own shops, restaurants, and other businesses there. The locals find Indians, their cuisines, and their way of life mystifying. Thus, the interest levels are high. Locals sample the Indian cuisine ...
... and develop an instant liking for the same. Thus, this spreads the popularity of Indian culture and its vibrant food.
However, it is a proven fact that the Indian food that is served at the restaurants abroad cannot come close to the authentic flavours. The dishes that are prepared abroad are customized or tweaked to meet the pallet of the foreigners. If you wish to sample true Indian cuisine and its exotic flavours, then making a trip to India would be the ultimate food travel that you can embark upon. This culinary journey will open up the world of spices, exotic fruits and vegetables, and succulent meat dishes.
The restaurants in India vary from the roadside, local delis, to the ultra-luxurious restaurants. You can sample the delicious Butter Chicken, Nan breads, Puris, as well as a gamut of vegetarian delicacies at these restaurants. Even though the common perception is that Indian food is spicy, this is not always true. If you travel down South, you will find dishes that are mild and contain coconut in one form or the other. North Indian food, on the other hand, tends to be spicy.
India also has an eclectic spread of International cuisines. You can sample the same by dining at any of the restaurants owned by the JSM Corporation. You can pick from a typical pizza joint, to an Oriental dining restaurant.
