Those craftsmen used to decorate the tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Today, only stone walls are left and while visiting the site you can take a look at the marks of homes and streets. Besides these walls and marks, the site also features two tombs and many interesting wall paintings.

Colossi of Memnon should not be overlooked while enjoying cheap holidays in Luxor. Colossi of Memnon are two massive sandstone statues standing at over 75 feet in height. According to experts, there was a temple at this site and these statues were built as its guardians. The site also features a few remains. Two headless sphinxes are among them.
