Known popularly by the 'Pink city', Jaipur is a favourite destination for the tourists. The capital city of Rajasthan, Jaipur was founded in the year 1727 by the ruler of Amber, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Initially Amber was the capital of Rajasthan and later the Maharaja changed the capital to Jaipur. The long huge walls and the marvelous forts signify the great architectural caliber of Rajputs.
