Jaipur - To Explore The Land Of Rajput

Known as the Pink City, Jaipur which is the capital of the biggest state in India, Rajasthan, attracts millions of tourists every year with its historical monuments and forts. The distinctly colored buildings and monuments of Jaipur were built by the ancient kings, the Rajputs of Jaipur inspired from the Mughal architecture. Jaipur holds an important position in the tourism sector of India and is one of the prominent places in the Golden triangle of Agra-Delhi-Jaipur.
There are many monuments like the Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and numerous palaces like the City Palace and the Jal Mahal to be visited in Jaipur. The Amber fort, Jaigarh fort and the Naragarh fort are the main forts in Jaipur that are frequented by the tourists. All the important sites in Jaipur are covered under good Jaipur Packages.

The Jantar Mantar observatory attracts a lot many tourists. The Amber fort is the most special site in the outskirts of Jaipur. This fort built with sandstone houses many small palaces including another important site named Sheesh Mahal. In addition to this Palace made of mirrors, there is also a temple inside the Amber Fort. If climbing up the fort is difficult, elephant rides can be made use of to climb up the fort. There are a number of jeeps available to take travelers who cannot climb up the fort.
Jaipur being well connected to most major cities in the country by a network of rails can be most easily accessed by trains. The RTDC connects Jaipur with other nearby cities by a fleet of buses. Express buses to several cities and towns within Rajasthan are also available from Jaipur. Jaipur airport has both domestic and international flights daily. It also provides chartered flights to London and Dublin.
