This new entry into the Porsche lineup represents a new direction for Porsche after becoming part of the Volkswagen family. 3. 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster

This hot new roadster is a unique convertible version of the division’s first ground up automobile. A 6.2 liter V8 engine will propel this epic car and will ensure that the convertible version is just as incredible as the classic.

The 911 is arguably the most timeless sports car on the market. Its design has remained nearly the same since it first hit the roads, and its iconic rear is instantly identifiable to car enthusiasts anywhere. The skin hasn’t changed much, but there are many improvements under the hood. The new model will be designated a 998, while last year’s is considered a 997 II. And while the look hasn’t change too much, the reworked headlights, new front facia and lighter frame definitely separates it from its predecessors.

5. 2012 R8 GT Spyder

This new entry to the Audi lineup is a lighter take on the R8 body. Only 333 models of this absolutely stunning car will be produced; so if you can afford one – act fast. With an uprated 5.2 L V-10 engine and 560 horsepower to make it go, this car is about pure performance.

If you can actually look at any of these cars and realistically see yourself driving one then you are living the dreams of many people. If, on the other hand, you are destined to drive a boring sedan for the rest of your days, then sit back and simply enjoy the fantasy.
