The Central Board of Secondary Education is popularly known as CBSE and it is responsible for preparing the syllabus for all sections of all public and private schools that follow the CBSE board. Except for standard 10 and 12, the examinations are conducted internally within each school and CBSE plays the role of provider of syllabus only. But when it come to class 10 and 12, even the examinations are conducted by CBSE and that too at a national level.

This means the challenge of each student is not limited to his school mates only, but is more expanded to the students of all the schools.
