If you want to spend some time amidst exuberant nature, start your excursion from Blue Mountains. This mountain range defines the natural richness of Kingston. Generally, the mountains are covered with mist that gives a blue hue to the range. At the base of the mountain, you would find John Crow National Park. The park is home to 200 species of birds, 800 endemic plant species and 500 types of flowers. The park also features Jamaica Bamboo that flowers after 33 years.
