With Mahindra Renault bond broken, the homegrown auto maker came back to the sedan segment with its all new Mahindra Verito in April last year. One of the most affordable and reliable entry level sedans of the country, Mahindra Verito boasts of rugged & dynamic looks along with spacious comfortable interiors. M&M has just rebadged the ‘Logan’ with a few cosmetic changes and tagged it as Verito.
The utility giant has done enough modifications in the sedan to lure car enthusiasts of the Indian subcontinent right from its gripping styling to relaxing cabin. The three box car is neatly packed in a dynamic outfit which embraces subtle looking powerful headlamps and prominent grille with Mahindra’s logo perfectly placed in between. Body colored bumpers, side mirrors and door handles accentuate the beauty of this machine. For the added safety of occupants, Verito is fitted with front and rear fog lamps and high mounted tail lamps which come handy in case of bad weather and misty conditions. With good ground clearance of 172 mm, Mahindra Verito is perfectly suited for Indian roads.

Mahindra engineers have done well to perfectly utilize the whole space available in the Verito. Employment of good quality upholstery, dual colored seats, carbon force steering wheel and wooden work in the central console have all light up the ambience with a feel of luxury.
Redesigned interiors of Mahindra Verito also comprise of an array of comfort and convenience features which include Power Steering, Power Windows, AC, Heater, Outside Temperature Display, Tachometer, Glove Compartment, Cigarette Lighter, Electronic Multi Tripmeter, Digital Odometer and Vanity Mirror. Other features include Remotely Accessible Fuel Lid Opener, Seat Lumbar Support, Rear Seat Headrests, Sunvisors, Luggage Compartment Carpet and many more.
Now for the performance part, Mahindra Verito is quite famous among the tour & travel people because of its interiors and next for its impressive mileage which is around 14-19kmpl with its diesel version. Under the hood of Verito rests 1.4 L, 4 cylinder, 1390cc, petrol engine which churns 75 bhp of top power at 5500 rpm along with 110 Nm of peak torque at 3000 rpm whereas its diesel variant comes equipped with 1.5 L, 4 cylinder 1461cc, diesel engine capable of belting out 65 bhp of maximum power at 4000 rpm and 160 Nm of ultimate torque at 2000 rpm. Both the engines are mated to five speed manual Transmission.
Safety has also been taken care of with the Driver airbag, Anti theft alarm system, Electrical rear window child lock, Rear view day & night Mirror, Rear and side Impact Beams, Key less Entry, Adjustable front seat belts, Adjustable front and rear head restraints, Door open warning light on IC, Collapsible steering column, etc.
