The commercial area of the city is located in New Kingston and is built on Knutsford Park Race Track land. This area houses many businesses.

Although a safe city for tourists, it is best to avoid quiet and unlit areas after dark. Also, it is important to take care of your belongings when roaming around in the city after sunset. The locals are extremely hospitable and friendly, but common sense should prevail in certain situations.
