Automobile manufacturers around the world always aim to bring classy yet affordable cars to the market. The year 2012 is also going to see the launch of quite a few cars in India which surely promises to stay around. Here are some of them:

It looks fit for rough rides and will surely be a head turner on the Indian roads. Priced at around Rs 8 lacs, it will surely find a lot of takers.

• Volkswagen New Beetle: Popularly known as The Bug, for its shape and designing, this is a car to watch out for. The modified version promises to be all that it was and much more. It has become larger and significant changes have been brought about in the outer paneling. It is also more expensive- with an estimated price of around 23 lacs.

• Nissan Small SUV: If you are a roadster and have been thinking of getting an SUV, this could be it. Nissan has made it possible to buy SUV at a lower price of just around 9 lacs. The 1.5 liter diesel engine ensures a smooth drive and makes long and tedious drives seem easy enough.
