Agra is an extremely charming city wrapped in an old world charm with traces of modern civilization making their presence felt in the region, thus the region stands as a perplexing mix of modernity and traditions, over whelming yet mesmerizing at the same time. This charming little city sitting on the banks of River Yamuna is widely recognized as well as most visited tourist destination of India. The city is widely renowned for its grand monument dedicated to love, the 'Taj Mahal', which is also a UNESCO enlisted World Heritage Site. Along with that there are two more interesting UNESCO World Heritage Sites present in the region namely the Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri among others.

Home to three World Heritage Sites, Agra is a very rich region in terms of culture, traditions and heritage. A must do in the region is feast on the widely renowned 'pethas' (Indian Sweets) and the large variety of Indian chats available in the region.
