According to Matt Cutts, head of the Google webspam team, Panda Update 3.5 rolled out around April 19 to cut down on “low quality content.” With the implementation of two Panda Updates now by Google, the players in the interactive marketing world are now forced to strategize a new game. This includes the Pennsylvania SEO market that has experienced vast changes in search engine ranking. While big brands are such as Spotify and Marvel are gaining visibility as a result of Panda Update 3.5, other sites such as aggregators of information and press portals are suffering.

Although aggregating content from other websites has been a crucial tool of engagement, it is not proving to be helpful after Google’s two Panda Updates. The majority of internet marketers that work with Pennsylvania SEO are not the big brands that are succeeding. Looking at search driven traffic, Pennsylvania SEO professionals can see a decrease in numbers, which is a major concern for localized businesses. Although eliminating low quality content is supposed to please internet users, fresh content is always pouring in but it is not always of what Google would determine as high quality content. Therefore generating new web content or launching a new website does not necessarily serve as a solution in the Pennsylvania SEO market.

The most important factor for SEO professionals to realize is that it’s all about the terms and keywords that the user types in. For any type of organization or business website, there are several keywords that need to be focused on. Localized businesses that want to maintain a web presence in the Pennsylvania SEO field should utilize these terms. Although fresh content proves to be important, without the consistency of these keywords and terms, a business can lose rankings and web traffic. Furthermore people tend to do their internet searches according to a pattern, one that all SEO professionals are fully aware of.

The Pennsylvania SEO market is not an exception to what many refer to as the “Big Brother” method of Google. However when web content pops up “as suggested by your last few searches” SEO professionals can utilize this tool for their clients or businesses. Since databases and aggregators of outside content are declining in the wake of Panda Update 3.5, SEO professionals now need to implement branding efforts and create original web content. With each new technique, Pennsylvania SEO professionals will need to closely monitor web traffic on behalf of their clients’ efforts to maintain a strong web presence.
