Google Places is a business listing page within Google Maps. With Google Maps, you can find products or services offered by local businesses. When searching in Google, We have all noticed the appearance of a Map with a listing of related businesses. How can you get listed with Google Places for Business?

1. If you don't already have a google account of some sort (i.e. gmail or google +1 profile etc.) sign up for one.

3. Select get your business found on Google (Claim your business listing on Google - for free)
4. Add a business
5. Select Country and enter phone # to try and pull up business information if it already exists in Google.

A. When completing this section, it is much more important to use your keyword phrase instead of your company name. 8. The Google Places process will take about 3 weeks before you will receive this postcard that will include a link and a PIN # to complete the activation.
