The MBA Programs are getting more costly with every passing year. Whether it is regular MBAs or new specialized courses, expenses are shooting up. Students are searching ways to fund their management studies. The cost of management courses was an average of 3-4 lacs until a few years ago which rose up to 10 lacs at present, and for reputed schools it over 10 lacs. This is the average cost for a two-year program for management studies in India.

Deserving students often cannot join a good business school due to high cost of fees. To ensure that talented students are enrolled, some top institutes in India offer scholarships. There are some trusts as well that offers financial support to students. Deserving students receive scholarships, topper scholarships, bursaries and in some cases complete fee waivers.

... this B-school of India. This institute offers Need-based scholarships to students from economically weak background. The amount is decided after assessing the annual gross family income of student. These scholarships are decided on income basis.

The B-school also offers need-based scholarships to students who want to pursue postgraduate courses and family income is very low. This institute also provides Industry Scholarships and SC/ST Scholarships. Besides these, there are other scholarships like the GOI Merit-cum-Means Scholarships, Aditya Birla Group Scholarships, OP Jindal Engineering and Management Scholars, Ocwen Scholarship for Competence in Academics et al.
Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore:
This is another branch of the autonomous body of IIMs located in Bangalore. It is one of the premier institutes in the country. There are merit-based scholarships like the Aditya Birla Scholarship given to students of both years. Some scholarships are conferred on students based on factors like merit, academic performance, leadership skills and innovative business thinking. Various corporate houses also gives scholarships to students of IIMs.
The other IIMs in India also offer numerous scholarships to deserving students.
The Indian School of Business in Hyderabad is noted for its innovative business courses. There are MBA in finance, marketing and other interesting specializations. This business school offers full as well as partial scholarships based on marks obtained. ISB also awards need based scholarships. Companies and MNCs partners with this business school and awards merit and need based scholarships.

Amity Business School: This is one of the well-known institutes in India offering a range of business courses. There is MBA in Finance, Marketing, Human Resources et al. It offers 100% scholarships to students who fetch more that 93% marks in Class XII and more than 80% marks at the graduate level. The school also has 50% scholarship program for students who obtain 88 % in Class XII.

Indus Business Academy, Bangalore: Another private B-school in India, this institute offers a range of scholarship programs to deserving students. There are Merit-cum-means scholarships where students receive Rs. 10,000. Another scholarship is given by corporate houses to meritorious students of Rs. 10,000. The students who secure 80% marks in Class X, XII or in graduation receive a scholarship of Rs. 30,000. This B-school also offers an entrance test based scholarships to student who obtain 60% marks.
