If you like desserts you have to learn to make whipped cream on your own! This food however can be successfully added to first and second dishes as well. In reality, whipped cream possesses an ability of making many dishes special and tastier. Unfortunately, many people don’t know how to make whipped cream correctly, while others are just lazy to learn this easy recipe as they consider the process of making whipped cream too hard. But in reality, even if you prefer buying ready-made whipped cream in cans be sure that home-made whipped cream is always tastier and even healthier.

Well, making whipped cream isn’t a difficult process and it involves not too much time. The first recipe for you of making whipped cream is called Creme a la Chantilly. This is sweetened whipped cream which can be added to some rather ordinary dessert, after which it will make it unusual. You can also add Creme a la Chantilly to a piece of fruit or a salad made of fruit. In order to cook this whipped cream you’ll need the following materials: a standing mixer or a mixing bowl with a whisk. The ingredients of Creme a la Chantilly include ...
... sugar, chilled Heavy Cream and flavorings. Sugar and flavorings are optional ingredients.

Procedure of cooking Creme a la Chantilly

Pour the chilled cream into an electric mixer and whisk it slowly at first. While mixing it rather slowly the sugar and flavorings can be added. The recommended flavorings are mint and vanilla as they will be more suitable for a great variety of desserts. In the process of the cream’s thickening, start turning the speed up until you notice soft peaks on the cream. But before getting the desired stiffness, it’s highly recommended to slow the speed in order to prevent the cream from separating and clumping.

If you don’t have an electric mixer you can use a mixing bowl and a whisk. Just fill the bowl with the cream and start whisking it. The whisk has to be held with the wire pointing downwards. The whisk should be moved with abrupt quick motions, changing between straight strokes and circular motions. In order to whip a cup of cream you’ll need about four minutes. You’re expected to notice rather small bubbles forming on the surface and later the cream will get foamier. The cream is expected to build volume in a few degrees of stiffness. Thus, when your whipped cream has soft peaks on it you can stop whipping it and use it for making cake and dessert toppings. Stiffer firm peaks of whipped cream will be perfect for cooking cake frosting and mousse.

Remember that the whipped cream can be stored in the refrigerator for no longer than two days. After two days of storing it will be edible, but it will start to lose its consistency.

In order to get whipped cream in the easier way you’ll need a cream whipper and some cream chargers. The ingredients of your future tasty cream will include chilled Heavy Cream, sugar and flavorings. The latter two ingredients can or cannot be added according to your needs and desire.

Procedure of cooking

If you’re going to use sugar and flavorings add them to the cream before starting whipping it in order to avoid clumping. Put all you chilled cream into the cream whipper until the maximum filling volume. Then insert the cream charger into the charger holder. Mind to screw on the charger well enough. After that you’ll need to shake the device as quickly as possible. You’ll have to remove the charger holder and discard the empty charger.

After that you’ll need to hold the device with the decorator tip in vertical position. In this position you can start dispensing the cream.

Mind that the ready whipped cream can be stored in the refrigerator no longer that for ten days with no preservatives. You can whip up a treat any time you wish.

Finally, it’s necessary to mention that whipped cream can be used not only in the kitchen as foods. In reality, you can use whipped cream in other ways as well. First of all, whipped cream can serve wonderful mask for a woman’s face or even a make-up remover. One can also use whipped cream as an excellent conditioner for hair once a week. Males can even use whipped cream as substitute for shaving cream.

So, if you need whipped cream at least for one of these purposes start whipping just now!
