Litigation Or Mediation – Choose The Best Way For Settlement
Divorce Mediation - Mediation is a structured, confidential and voluntary process of settlement in which a spouse from both the partners who want divorce can comfortably and easily settle the disputes with the help of a trained neutral known as New York Divorce Mediator. A person can only discuss the matter in an open environment that help both the parties to easily communicate and can discuss the important and necessary matters without any hesitation in order to get a best solution and to reach an agreement that will be beneficial for both of them and also by the court.

Divorce Litigation – It is a legal process in which the person who wants divorce from his/her partner choose their own attorney which represent the respective parties in the proceeding of the divorce matter. Time required in the Mediation process as compared to that of Divorce litigation –
Mediation process requires usually two to three hours long session that is followed by the decision of the court, a legal process of documents and paper work and all these formalities are taken care by the mediator as he acts as an individual attorney on behalf of both the parties. The timing of the session can be decided by the parties according to their suitability. On the other hand, Litigation process is a long process which take time because it require at least 1 year, in order to know the date from the court for meeting.
Decision Maker – In Mediation process, parties are the decision makers, who tell all their decisions to the mediator and after the mutual understanding and conclusion, decision is taken. Whereas in the divorce litigation, both the parties with the help of the individual attorneys, place their mater of concern in front of the judge and he further give one legal decision to both the parties which is duly followed by both of them and in case, if the decision is not followed by any of the party, then he/she has to pay the penalty for that.
In both the cases, the decision is in the hand of the efforts of divorce mediators. That’s why they provide best divorce mediation services from their end.
