Around twelve percent of the world’s population is killed due to diabetes. With high amount of sugar content found in blood, the chances of getting diabetes increases. While going for diabetes test, there is one single thing to look out for. It is the release of hormone insulin by pancreas. After undergoing test, if it is found that the pancreas is unable to produce necessary hormone insulin to control the blood sugar level, then patient is called “Diabetic." When the pancreas stops producing suitable hormone insulin, blood sugar level rises by a massive margin.

When glucose concentration level in blood increases, diabetes symptoms start to show up. Often it becomes quite troublesome to recognize the actual symptoms. Always remember that diabetes is of different types. In addition, each has its different way of treatment. Commonly, there are three major type of diabetes: insulin based (type 1), non-insulin base (type 2), and gestational.
Type one or insulin based diabetes was often called as juvenile due to its ability to affect children as well young ...
... adults. When such a form of diabetes occurs, the body becomes incapable to produce hormone insulin. As a result, the pancreatic cells are attacked strongly by immune system. A patient of type 1 diabetes normally requires artificial insulin from external source in order to stay well. Without proper insulin injecting procedure, chances of heart attacks is quite on the higher side. Kidney problems can also take place. Other problems include nerve damage, improper visioning, fatigue, abdominal pain, nausea, increased thirst, as well frequent urination. In some case, severe loss in body weight can also be observed.

Type 2 diabetes is more common and is considered more dangerous. It is because this particular type is difficult to recognize. Symptoms are less and it takes quite long time to find out that something has gone seriously wrong.

Gestational diabetes takes place mostly in women. It takes place during the time of pregnancy. In pregnant women, level of blood sugar can fluctuate quite often. This may result in causing severe harm to unborn baby. Chances of miscarriage are also there. It is necessary to perform gestational diabetes test during pregnancy. There are suitable treatments available for the same.
