Easy way to quit smoking
I bet you realize how difficult it is to quit smoking. It takes alot of determination and will power. Research has shown that anyone CAN quit! :) I took up quitting because I wanted to live long enough to enjoy my grandchildren's life together. There's so many diseases out there from smoking today - it really shocked me. There are many methods of quitting out there - be aware of the chemical ones with your physician. Since you've made the choice to quit smoking today, you've already begun your success! Since the root of the problem is the addiction to NICOTINE, that's what you want to get RID of eventually.
Smoking
Cigarette smokers have accounted for about EIGHTY percent of all lung-cancer deaths! Addiction to nicotine is a sickness! After smoking for many, many years, I can tell you from first-hand experience that smoking definately becomes a part of yourself...and who you are. Occassionally, you'll find that the habit of smoking cigarettes will become the root problem of all other addictions of yourself! The drug
Beleive it or not, nicotine is one of the most commonly used addicting chemicals in the USA. Nicotine dependency made me feel weak and helpless. It is now a scientific FACT that nicotine is one of the planet's most highly addictive chemical substances known to man! You may have questions about nicotine addiction and how to quit. It is important that you realise the true dangers of nicotine on the body.
Lungs
By the time you quit, about 90 days after your stop date, you'll begin to notice about a 30% improvement with your lung function. If you keep smoking your risks of getting lung cancer will continue to grow more and more. But after you stop your risks will really fall...and even smooth out to a normal level again! Of course the ones that smoke filterless cigarettes will have greater chances than those who smoke the filter-tip cigarettes.
Support/Help
You can get support in many ways: Tell your family, friends, and coworkers that you are going to quit and want their support. Arm yourself with knowledge and support, and be patient. Giving up smoking can seem like a real chore, but stick with it and be fair and patient to yourself.
Cessation
Unfortuntately, many many people quit a smoking cessation plan and give up too soon. The ACTUAL smoking cessation is all MENTAL! It all begins in your mind and THEN goes throughout your self from there. Remember that.
Conclusion
Remember: patience, patience patience! And if you don't sucessfully quit the first or second or third time, remember...don't go too hard on yourself - you can do it! Persistence is key! Help from others that have quit or that are still in the process of quitting will also really help you with your own struggle with nicotine addiction.
