Variety Of Options In Govt Jobs In India Like Railway Jobs Turning People Towards Sarkari Naukri
The very reason for the high demand for jobs in the government sectors in the post independence era was the availability of such prospects in abundance. There were very few or rather almost no private companies during those days, due to which people didn’t have any options. But gradually with opening up of the economy to the foreign players and the age of internet spreading throughout the world, India became a favourite ground for the multinational companies to start their operations in different sectors in India.
They paid the Indian recruits quite handsomely but in return wanted them to work for longer hours and meet deadlines. In the process, it dawned upon these people that the constant pressure of long working hours and working with deadlines is detrimental for their well being. Therefore, only after a few decades of private sector supremacy, the sarkari naukri has again resurged in the 21st century. Now, the society is in a balanced state with availability of both government jobs and private sector opportunities, although the balance is slightly trending towards the govt jobs in India.
Given an opportunity, ...
... people would readily give their first choice as a job in any government sector. As if to corroborate such a fact, many government organisations are coming up with increased opportunities for the people of the country and recruiting them in huge numbers. With active planning and regulations, the governments at the centre and states are coming out with plans and steps to ensure that maximum number of opportunities are available for the people. Contributing heavily towards such a trend are the sectors of health, railways, banking, infrastructure, and also agriculture as well as defence.
The defence sector is perhaps one of the largest employers in the country, which consists of the three wings of army, air force and navy. Each of the posts in these departments is a government job, many of them being directly under the central government. The pay structures in these posts are quite good, with active and regular recruitment of people in the officer, clerical and lower grades being done on a regular basis. Depending on the educational criteria that are being sought, people can apply for the said posts by appearing in written tests or only interview rounds or sometimes both.
Railways is another of the largest employers in the country, where also the railway jobs comprise of officer posts in the upper echelons as well as the lower grade workers in the field. With the Indian railways spreading from the north to the south and west to the east, there are many posts that are required to be filled up in order to carry out the functions with smoothness. The recruitment to the railway jobs is carried out by the UPSC for the officer cadre, RRB for the clerical and lower officer ranks and by the SSC for the lower grade workers.
Health sector is also a big contributor for the large number of govt jobs in India. There is an urgent requirement for doctors and other health staff in the hospitals in every village of India. This means that there are thousands of doctors required for the whole country. Other health professionals as well as allied health services are in requirement of people who would be filling up the large number of vacancies in the country.
Banking jobs, various posts in the industries, engineering jobs in various technical positions, etc are also some of the other common fields where the sarkari naukri can be found. People who are interested for these jobs should apply as per the vacancy notifications and then they will have the opportunity to make it big in their life with the govt jobs in India.
