In the coming years, the demand for management graduates would be quite high but to meet this demand, candidates would be required to clear the entrance exams. This demand is and would be also high because of the private companies, who are seeking people with competency in management affairs. Gradually, such a trait in the qualifications is also being sought by the government organisations, which is an impressing factor during the interview rounds.

In official business, it has also been seen that people with an additional qualification of MBA are able to perform their works with a better management perspective. As a result of the high demand for management graduates, candidates are nowadays, going for MBA courses in different colleges throughout the country. And they are ready to give whatever it takes to get a degree for them.

Studying in the top institutes of the country is always an advantage and this is possible if people are able to crack the top level entrance exams that are being held in the country. CAT 2012 will also be a testing exam for the interested candidates where there would be two sections, the first one dealing with quantitative analysis and data interpretation, while the second part will have logical reasoning and verbal ability. A total of 60 questions will have to be answered within a time limit of 140 minutes, with 70 minutes for each section which has 30 questions. This particular time constraint has been one of the challenging factors for the students because they need to get the maximum right answers. Another factor for the toughness of the exam of CAT 2012 is that of the large number of students, which would make the exam quite competitive.

So the students who are aiming to get into the top institutes of IIMs, in India, should try hard and secure a high percentile in the upcoming CAT exam. People can also go for the XAT 2013 exam, which is also held once in a year around the time of January. This exam of Xavier’s Aptitude Test is conducted for the 3 Xavier Institutes in India, along with many other participating B schools of the country. Some of these schools will also take in students who will score good ranks in the MAT 2012.

This later exam is conducted four times in a year on the months of February, May, September and December. This is a highly demanded test because there are many colleges which accept MAT score and also because this test is conducted by the All India Management Association, thereby providing a recognition to it. The MAT 2012 will therefore be a golden opportunity for the students who want to study management in different colleges in India, but are probably not able to make it through the CAT exams. The presence of so many entrance tests for scoring a seat in some of the top management institutes of India is an encouraging sign for the students who are aiming to become managers or incorporate managerial techniques into their current professions.
